3. Service Terms and Expectations

No Guaranteed Rankings

While we employ proven SEO strategies, we cannot guarantee specific search engine rankings or results. SEO is influenced by numerous factors beyond our control, including search engine algorithm changes, competitor actions, and market conditions.

Timeline for Results

• Initial SEO improvements may be visible within 30-90 days
• Significant ranking improvements typically occur within 3-6 months
• AI Engine Optimization results may vary based on platform updates
• Local SEO results often show faster improvement than national campaigns

Client Responsibilities

• Provide accurate business information and access credentials
• Respond promptly to requests for content or approvals
• Maintain website hosting and domain registration
• Implement recommended technical changes when feasible
• Comply with search engine guidelines and best practices

4. Payment Terms

Service Fees

• Monthly retainer fees are due in advance
• One-time project fees are due per agreed payment schedule
• Setup fees are non-refundable once work commences
• Late payments may incur a 2% monthly service charge

Payment Methods

We accept payment via bank transfer, credit card, or other agreed methods. All fees are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) unless otherwise specified.

Refund Policy

• Monthly retainers are non-refundable once work has commenced
• Project fees may be partially refundable based on work completed
• Refund requests must be made in writing within 30 days

5. Contract Duration and Termination

Service Periods

• SEO services typically require a minimum 6-month commitment
• Month-to-month agreements available after initial contract period
• Project-based work is completed per agreed timeline

Termination Rights

Either party may terminate services with 30 days written notice. Upon termination:

• Client retains ownership of website and created content
• Access to our proprietary tools and reports will cease
• Final invoices are due within 30 days
• We may remove our work if specifically requested

6. Intellectual Property

Client Content

You retain ownership of your business information, logos, and existing content. You grant us license to use this content for providing services.

Our Work Product

• SEO strategies and methodologies remain our intellectual property
• Custom content created for your website becomes your property
• Reporting templates and analytics tools remain our property
• You may not share our proprietary strategies with competitors

Third-Party Tools

We may use third-party software and tools. Compliance with their terms of service is required.

7. Confidentiality

We maintain strict confidentiality regarding:

• Your business strategies and competitive information
• Website analytics and performance data
• Financial information and business plans
• Any information marked as confidential

8. Liability and Disclaimers

Service Limitations

• SEO results depend on many factors beyond our control
• Search engine algorithm changes may impact results
• We are not responsible for competitor actions or market changes
• Website functionality depends on your hosting provider

Liability Limits

Our liability is limited to the amount paid for services in the preceding 12 months. We are not liable for:

• Indirect or consequential damages

• Technical problems with your website hosting

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from:

• Content you provide or approve

9. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures due to circumstances beyond our control, including natural disasters, internet outages, search engine policy changes, or AI platform modifications.

10. Compliance and Ethical Standards

Search Engine Guidelines

• We follow Google Webmaster Guidelines and best practices
• We do not engage in black-hat SEO techniques
• All optimization work complies with search engine terms of service
• We maintain ethical standards in all digital marketing activities

Legal Compliance

Our services comply with:

11. Modifications to Services

We reserve the right to:

Significant changes will be communicated with 30 days notice.

12. Dispute Resolution

Initial Resolution
