Run these two free tests right now:

Open Google PageSpeed Insights (pagespeed.web.dev, free). Type in your website address and click Analyse. Look at the scores for both Mobile and Desktop. A score of 90 or above is good. Below 50 is poor and will be affecting your rankings.
